Dr. Kendall Egan is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and integrative dermatology.
Dr. Egan is committed to providing compassionate and thorough medical and cosmetic care. Her interests include acne, skin cancer, hair loss, rashes, pediatrics, and all things skin! She often likes to combine integrative approaches to patient care.
For those patients interested in cosmetic treatments, Dr. Egan specializes in neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), fillers, chemical peels, plasma rich protein, and laser treatments. Dr. Egan strives to accentuate a natural youthful look and avoids creating “fake” appearing results.
Dr. Egan has published over 17 articles on topics including skin cancer, hair loss, inflammatory skin conditions, and infectious skin diseases. She has been asked to talk at national dermatology meetings, including the American Academy of Dermatology.
After attending the University of California Davis School of Medicine, Dr. Egan was commissioned into the US Navy. She deployed twice as a physician on an aircraft carrier, including one to Indonesia to provide medical care for the tsunami relief effort. She has taken off and landed on an aircraft carrier, flown in helicopters over the Indian Ocean, and traveled the world taking care of our military service members. She has the utmost respect for our active duty service members and veterans. She considers her time in the Navy a great honor. After internship and residency, she spent several years teaching residents. Dr. Egan has practiced in the private sector in Oregon and North Carolina where she has developed an appreciation for craft beer, sea turtles, and thunderstorms. Dr. Egan was an All American high school swimmer and swam competitively at UC Santa Barbara. She continues to follow swimming closely, and loves taking care of athletes! Her Navy and athletic experience allows her to understand the demands of athletics and work environments on skin health.
